Legal conditions

In accordance with the provisions of the sales contract law of the Italian Civil Code, the following conditions apply:

Prices

The booking confirmation determines which services and prices are contractually agreed upon, with reference to our current Price List.

Total rates include the stay and confirmed treatments, the board you have booked, and the support program.

If you decide to extend your stay, have additional treatments, or eliminate certain treatments in agreement with the doctor, the final price will be recalculated at check-out.

Booking

The confirmatory deposit becomes due upon confirmation of the booking via email or letter.

The prices in effect at the time of booking will be applied.

Bookings can be made by telephone, via email, or by written letter.

Your booking becomes official when you receive our confirmation and the receipt of the confirmatory deposit equal to 10% of the total estimate sent.

It is possible to cancel the booking – in writing only – during the first seven days after making the reservation. In this case, there will be no cancellation fee, provided it is more than four weeks before the start of the scheduled stay, as that is when we begin planning doctor visits, treatments, meals, and staffing.

Starting from the eighth day after making the reservation, a cancellation fee will apply.

Payment can be made via the following options:

1- Credit cards

The Maharishi Ayurveda Center Lake Orta accepts Visa, Master-/Eurocard, and Mastercard. Credit card details must be provided at the same time as the booking confirmation, directly on the web page. Data will be transmitted directly to our server via a secure connection (128-bit SSL encryption).
As soon as the transaction is completed, the data will be automatically deleted from the server. In this way, we can guarantee maximum security.

2 – Bank transfer

Please transfer the requested amount after completing the booking confirmation.

Cancellation

Cancellation of the booking is only possible in writing (email, letter). Cancellation fees depend on the time remaining until your scheduled arrival and are proportional to the services booked, as follows:

In case of cancellation:

from 4 weeks before arrival until the 14th day before arrival: 30% of the total cost
from the 13th day before arrival until the 7th day before arrival: 60% of the total cost
from the 6th day before arrival and/or in case of a “no show”: 80% of the total cost

Any difference between the deposit paid and the retained penalty will be refunded via bank transfer.

Early departure

If you must depart before the end of your scheduled stay and treatments, those services that were booked but not performed will be charged at 80% of their cost.

In the event of contract termination or non-use of contractually agreed services, the guest bears the burden of proof that no damage arose due to the termination or non-use, or that such damage is significantly and substantially lower than the cancellation fees listed in point 5.

Naturally, we will also accept a substitute person of the same sex if you are unable to come for the booked stay. In case of impossibility due to serious reasons, the payment may be reused within one year for future stays at our center.

We are also pleased to arrange reasonable cancellation rates and cancellation insurance.

Complaints and warranty during the course of treatment

If any aspect of our services should prove unsatisfactory, this should be brought to our attention immediately so that we can remedy the situation at once.

Cancellation of treatments during the stay

The cancellation of individual Ayurvedic treatment sessions during your stay is possible until 12:00 PM on the day preceding the scheduled treatment. Otherwise, you will be charged 80% of the treatment cost unless otherwise indicated by a doctor.

Data protection

Your personal information will be used exclusively for processing your booking and for our internal use, unless you have expressly consented to additional use. If you wish for your personal information to be removed, blocked, or updated, please send us an email at: info@ayurveda-maharishi.net

Applicable law

Italian law is applicable to all our services and contractual agreements.
